Rejoice Today: Psalm 118:24
"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
— Psalm 118:24
Joy is often something we think we’ll experience “later”—when life is easier, problems are solved, or our dreams come true. But this verse reminds us that today is a gift from God. It’s not about waiting for the perfect moment; it’s about choosing joy right where we are.
Psalm 118 celebrates God’s victory and steadfast love, calling us to rejoice in the simple fact that He is with us and has made this day for us. Even in the ordinary, God’s goodness can be found. When we take time to notice His blessings—a sunrise, a kind word, or simply the breath in our lungs—we discover there’s always a reason to rejoice.
So pause for a moment. Look around. God’s goodness is woven into the fabric of today. Let gratitude lead the way, and let joy rise from the knowledge that this day is a gift designed by the Creator Himself.
Prayer: Father, thank You for this day You have made. Help me to embrace it with joy and gratitude, trusting in Your perfect plan. Open my eyes to the blessings around me and teach me to rejoice, no matter my circumstances. Fill my heart with gladness as I walk in the light of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is MY responsibility, but I’m trying and trying and I hate that I haven’t overcome yet, my language is horrible at times, my temper can be the same, I DESPERATELY want these things to change. If you could just lift me up.. I’m 60 years old so I ain’t getting any younger. Thank you and God bless you.

Thank you for this message today! Praying 2025 will be much better for myself and my husband. We both have cancer surgeries last four months. God is good all the time I thank him every day for giving me life and for taking care of my family.❣️

It would be nice to have joy back in my life. I’m being honest. I pray very much everyday. If anyone could accuse of praying too much it would be me. But there is very little joy in my life. My sweet wife went to be with Jesus over 5 years ago. My daughter, A.R. needs a good Christian man in her life. Life is very hard now. Yes, God Jesus and The Holy Spirit blesses me very much but I can’t fake joy.

I pray that my cervical spine fracture continues to heal and that I continue to put my faith in the lord that this year will be my year of success , overcoming obstacles and becoming the best version of myself. I pray that I lead with gratitude and love in my heart and know that there is a bigger plan for me than I could ever dream. Amen.

It’s easy to see what’s wrong with our day, but this is a reminder to see what’s right!
