    At the risk of "TMI," I am a competitive powerlifter. Recently, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer of the bone marrow. I've had to drastically change my diet and training regimens as I'm going through the treatment process. Although I'm lifting with much less weight, I still need to wear knee sleeves on squat and deadlift days to protect myself from injury.
