Unshakable Hope: Trusting God’s Promises
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Hope is one of the most powerful gifts God gives us. When nothing seems to be going your way, it’s easy to feel weighed down by doubt or fear. But Romans 15:13 reminds us that true hope doesn’t come from our circumstances—it comes from God. He is the source of lasting joy and peace, filling us through our faith in Him.
Many times, we try to find hope in things that are temporary—success, relationships, financial security—but these things can shift and change. God, however, never changes. His promises remain constant, and He invites us to trust Him fully, even when we can’t see the outcome. When we choose to put our faith in Him, we aren’t left to navigate life on our own. The Holy Spirit is actively at work within us, strengthening our hearts, reminding us of God’s promises, and helping us to stand firm in hope.
Hope in God is not just wishful thinking—it’s a deep, unshakable confidence in His goodness and His plans. No matter what season you are in right now, know that God is with you. He sees you, He cares for you, and He is working behind the scenes in ways you may not yet understand. Even in the waiting, even in the trials, His joy and peace are available to you. You don’t have to carry your burdens alone—surrender them to Him, trust in His faithfulness, and allow His Spirit to fill you with unshakable hope.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for being the God of hope. In times of uncertainty and difficulty, fill my heart with Your peace and joy. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan, even when I don’t understand the path ahead. Strengthen my faith so that I may abound in hope through the power of Your Spirit. Remind me that no situation is beyond Your control and that Your love for me never wavers. I surrender my worries to You and choose to walk in the confidence of Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seems like I have been at a bad place for a very long time , I have had short stints of feeling happy and in good spirit’s but they seem to be taken over with depression and anxiety! Most of the time I feel it’s because I’m not close enough to his and my choices have been made based on my thoughts and not gods plan . I’m trying to ask for forgiveness in my life so I can have peace and happiness and be the best Christian, father , son and person possible .
I’m a broken man with so much hurt but I do know I have many blessings and I’m happy I have god in my life I just want more of him
